CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Terry Francona’s absence will last a bit longer.
Team president Chris Antonetti said the manager is recovering from a procedure, has blood clots and is “very sore.”
Antonetti said the prognosis is good but it will be a little while before the skipper can return to the dugout.
Francona, 61, underwent a procedure at Cleveland Clinic and has missed 17 games this season.
