CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) -

UPDATE: Cleveland police said preliminary information reveals that Lesure’s boyfriend shot her after they got into an argument.

He was taken in custody, police said.

ORIGINAL: A 21-year-old woman died Wednesday, and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner said it’s likely that someone killed her.

Shawntale Lesure, of Cleveland, was taken from the 3000 block of E. 65th Street to MetroHealth by EMS after being injured.

MetroHealth reported her death to the medical examiner as a suspected homicide.

Lesure’s family said she died after being shot in the head.
