Cleveland Public Library stops visitation limit, closes branch for debate day

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A Sunday announcement from the Cleveland Public Library updated patrons on their operating hours and a branch closure due to the 2020 presidential debate.

The MLK Branch, which is located near the debate site, will close Tuesday for security and traffic reasons. The branch will reopen Wednesday.

The downtown branches will no longer limit visitation to one hour.

The Main Library is extending its drive-up window hours to 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

The new drive-up window hours begin Monday.
