CLEVELAND (WOIO) - Sunday’s Browns game made history-- and not just because the team earned a winning record in the first three games of the season for the first time in almost a decade.
Yesterday marked the first time in a regular-season NFL game three woman were on the field.
Both the Browns and the Washington Football Team had a female coach on their sidelines.
A female official was also on the field Sunday.
Callie Brownson is the Browns chief of staff, Jennifer King is Washington’s full-year coaching intern, and Sarah Thomas is an NFL official.
The Browns named Brownson chief of staff this January.
