CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - As of Tuesday, the Department of Health said 4,947 Ohioans have died from the coronavirus with at least 161,299 cases reported statewide since the start of the pandemic.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine held a briefing on Tuesday with the latest data in the state’s fight against the spread of COVID-19.
An additional 9,316 cases and 309 deaths are presumed to be linked to COVID-19 under the CDC expanded definitions and included in the Ohio Department of Health’s reporting.
Out of the 15,972 hospitalizations reported on Tuesday, at least 3,367 individuals were admitted to intensive care units.
