Cleveland State University moves spring break over coronavirus concerns
CLEVELAND (WOIO) - Cleveland State University will have spring break in January instead of in March for the spring 2021 semester, university president Harlan M. Sands said in a letter.
Spring break will now take place from Jan. 9-16, at the end of winter break.
Since there is no spring break in March, March 10 and April 8 have been designated as reading days.
No classes will be held on those days.
Classes will begin Jan 16.
Sands also said just under half of Cleveland State classes will be offered on campus next semester.
A modified calendar isn’t the only change at Cleveland State; Sands said the fall 2020 semester will have a pass/fail grading option for students.
