CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Brad Hand’s Cleveland career is over.

The Indians waived Hand Thursday, declining his $10M option for 2021.

Hand led MLB in saves with 16 in the COVID-shortened 60-game season.

The 30-year-old lefty has 105 career saves in 10 seasons and is a 3-time All-Star.

James Karinchak appears to be the leading candidate to take over as closer.
