CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Cleveland Cavaliers are offering $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect responsible for the murder of Ericka Weems, bring the total reward to $15,000.
Weems was found unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds on the afternoon of Nov. 2 at a Hardesty Boulevard home in Akron, according to detectives. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 37-year-old woman is the sister of Brandon Weems, the director of scouting for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In addition to the reward from the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Summit County Crime Stoppers Inc. is offering $5,000.
