FBI asking for public’s help finding 18-year-old wanted in Akron murder

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - The FBI is looking for 18-year-old Adarus Macio Black for his involvement in the murder of 18-year-old Na’Kia Crawford back in June

Crawford was killed while sitting at a stoplight on June 14, according to the FBI.

The FBI alleges Black fired at the victim’s vehicle indiscriminately, believing it belonged to a rival.

The Summit County Court of Common Pleas charged Black with murder. A state warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Law enforcement said Black has family contacts in Michigan, Tennessee and California, as well as in Northeast Ohio.

Anyone with information on Black’s location is urged to call the Akron Police Department at 330-375-2490, the Cleveland Division of the FBI at 1-877-FBI-OHIO (1-877-324-6446) or the USMS at 1-866-4WANTED.

Reward money is available for information leading to the successful location, apprehension and prosecution of Black. Tips can remain anonymous.
