CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - There is not a lot of fun to be had in these days of plague. But one man in Maumee, Ohio posted pictures to social media having a little fun with Govenor Mike DeWine’s repeated attempts to get Ohioans to wear a mask and social distance.
Maybe we’re all just starved for fun. But the post has struck a chord in a state struggling with surging numbers of infections and the resulting curfews, remote school, and stretched hospitals.
By Wednesday night, a Facebook post featuring Mike DeWine’s smiling bespectacled face peering out of bushes or from behind walls making the “I’m watching you” gesture with two fingers pointed at his eyes, had almost 3,000 likes and 22 thousand shares.
Some people are just funny and talented.
Thanks for the laugh, Facebook. We needed it.
