UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) - University Heights police issued a warning to residents Tuesday about a rash of car thefts in the community.

Police said 13 vehicles have been stolen from University Heights since mid-Sept. They’ve recovered 10 thus far.

Police said each theft had one thing in common: The cars were left unlocked with the keys inside.

Many of the vehicles were stolen from residential driveways, police said.
