Man damages Akron ATM with stolen Bobcat

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - A man stole a Bobcat-Skid Steer from an Akron business and then drove it into an ATM, said police.

According to Akron officers, the man took the piece of machinery from a business in the 1500 block of Exeter Road.

After vandalizing the Citizen’s Bank ATM in the 1100 block of E. Waterloo Road around 6:15 a.m.on Jan. 1, he then abandoned the Bobcat in the 1300 block of Kelly Avenue.

Officers released surveillance pictures of the suspect Tuesday and are asking anyone who can help identify him to call them at 330-375-24900.
