CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland police are asking for the public’s help identifying suspects who may have been involved in a car theft.

The theft occurred around 8 p.m. last Wednesday when a man driving a green 2004 Saturn Vue into a Sunoco gas station in the 6200 block of Storer Avenue, according to a Second District Community Relations Committee Facebook post.

The man left his car running and went into the gas station.

That’s when, police say, a silver sedan pulled into the gas station parking lot.

A suspect got out of the passenger side of the sedan, jumped into the Saturn Vue, and drove away, according to the post.

Police are asking those with information to call Detective Murphy at 216-623-5217 or Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7463.
