CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The coffee is on at U.S. Attorney Justin Herdman’s office this morning.
Herdman, a Trump appointee, has vowed to hold anyone who committed federal crimes at the Capitol to account in a Tweet Wednesday.
“If these people, or anyone else who committed federal crimes at the Capitol today, are from Northern Ohio, you are going to be held accountable before I leave office,” he wrote.
And he says he’s happy to go without sleep to get that done.
Herdman has two days left on the job. He will leave his position on January 8. He announced plans to resign his position in December, according to the Justice Department.
