Colossal Cupcakes in downtown set to reopen in March
They have been closed due to May 30 riot damage.
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Colossal Cupcakes in downtown is set to reopen on March 16, and they are also celebrating their nine years of business in downtown, they announced on Twitter Friday morning.
We spoke to owner Kelley Kanah Friday afternoon, she tells us the store has had a lot of demolition work done to it.
Due to the tear gas, a lot of things had chemical damage and had to be completely removed.
Now, the team is focusing on bringing new things in.
Kanah would not give us specific details on the new space, but tells us it will look different, taking their fairytale theme to a new level.
The award winning businesses has been closed since the damage they sustained during the May 30 riots. You can read our coverage on that below.
