AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - A 24-year-old woman was stabbed to death early Wednesday morning and police said they arrested the female murder suspect as she was trying to leave the scene.
Just after midnight, Akron police officers responded to a house on the 1100 block of Nome Avenue.
When they arrived, they said they found Sara Stubbs suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Officers immediately rendered first aid until EMS transported her to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center.
Stubbs died from her injuries just before 1 a.m.
Akron police said they stopped Rochelle Paul, 36, as she was trying to flee the scene.
Paul is charged with aggravated murder and felonious assault and locked up in the Summit County Jail.
