CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Stark County Sheriff’s Office will spend more time looking for impaired drivers in February.
Deputies will work an additional 12 hours looking for people driving under the influence throughout Stark County in February, according to a sheriff’s department media release. They’ll also work an additional six hours in the run up to the Super Bowl February 7 and 8.
“Impaired driving is a serious concern in our country and in Stark County,” the sheriff’s department said. “Every day 28 people die and every two minutes a person is injured in an impaired driving crash in the United States.”
