CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority announced it will close its downtown offices on January 20 out an an abundance of caution.
The RTA cited the city’s decision to close its downtown buildings in response to social unrest on inauguration day, according to an GCRTA press release.
“We have not received any credible threats from local, state and federal authorities at this time,” according to the release.
Employees with work from other locations or remotely that day. Customers with business at the main office are asking to reschedule their visit for another day.
