Police release photos of man accused of robbing Akron flower shop

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man accused of robbing a flower shop in Akron.

The crime occurred around 7 p.m. on Jan. 30 at Flowerama, located at 2495 Mogadore Road.

Police said a man entered Flowerama and handed the cashier a note saying he was armed.

The suspect demanded cash, the cashier complied and the suspect fled the business.

Police said the suspect may have crossed the bridge on Darrow Road while fleeing.
