Off-duty Cleveland police officer dies suddenly

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - An off-duty Cleveland police officer died suddenly Thursday.

Officials said Cleveland Police Officer Erwin Eberhardt suffered a fatal heart attack.

In June 2017, Officer Eberhardt was one of the officers of the month nominated by the Cleveland Police Foundation.
