CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said a memorial grove is being planned for a state park to honor those who have died due to the coronavirus.

The governor, who announced the plans on the day before the one year anniversary of when Ohio reported its first confirmed COVID-19 case, did not say where the grove would be located.

As of Monday, the Department of Health verified 17,656 coronavirus deaths in the state of Ohio.
