Update: Marshon Lattimore charged, case bound over to Grand Jury
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Marshon Lattimore was charged with receiving stolen property in Cleveland Muni Courtroom Friday afternoon. His case was bound over to Cuyahoga County Grand Jury. His bond was set at $5,000 bond.
The NFL player and graduate of Glenville High School was arrested by Cleveland police Thursday evening.
Cleveland police said Lattimore was the passenger in a car pulled over for a traffic stop around 10:30 p.m. at East 97th Street and Carr Avenue.
Officers said Lattimore had a loaded Glock 19 handgun in his possession and did not tell the officer, until after the officer spotted the weapon.
Lattimore is charged with failure to notify and receiving stolen property.
According to police, the gun was discovered to be stolen out of Euclid.
Two additional passengers were arrested for having weapons under disability.
The driver, Carl Willis, is charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and issued a traffic citation for no taillights.
Lattimore currently plays for the New Orleans Saints.
