CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The communities of Parma and Brooklyn Heights announced Thursday they temporarily stopped trapping feral cats after so many residents expressed their concerns.

In the past four years, the Animal Control Officer has euthanized 25 cats and has placed 96 in rescues or homes.

Out of the 25 euthanized cats, some were injured or terminally ill.

City officials added they have received 245 cat related complaints over the past four years.
