NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio (WOIO) - North Olmsted police and city service department workers rescued a fawn stuck in a sewer grate behind a restaurant.

The owner of Sittoo’s Restaurant in the 24000 block of Lorain Road called police Monday after seeing the baby animal was unable to free itself.

Working together, the officers and the city workers freed the animal, as the mother deer stood nearby.

The fawn was not injured and reunited with her mom.
