8 people shot at high school graduation party on Cleveland’s West Side

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Eight people were shot around 10 p.m. Sunday in Cleveland’s Clark-Fulton neighborhood while attending a high school graduation party.

The victims told Cleveland police they were standing outside the party in the 3700 block of Woodbridge Avenue when a dark colored sedan drove by and someone inside the vehicle fired multiple shows into the crowd.

A 29-year-old woman was shot in the chest, a 47-year-old man was shot in the stomach, a 24-year-old woman was shot in the leg, a 24-year-old man was shot in the leg, a 22-year-old man was shot in the leg, a 46-year-old man was shot in the shin and a 61-year-old man was shot in the chest.

EMS transported those seven victims to Metro Health Hospital. Their conditions have not been released.

The eighth victim, a 38-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest, was taken by private transport to Metro Health Hospital. His condition is also not being released.

Police added the vehicle may have been an Impala with tinted windows, but no suspects have been identified.
