Raccoon with jar on its head rescued in Mentor-on-the-Lake

MENTOR-ON-THE-LAKE, Ohio (WOIO) - Thursday night marked a second chance for a curious creature in Mentor-on-the-Lake.
The city police and fire departments took part in rescuing a raccoon with a jar stuck on its head.
In a Facebook post, the fire department said the raccoon was discovered in a tree and scurried to safety after the jar was removed.
The fire department shared the following photos of the “uncommon rescue:”
