CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Browns K Cade York drilled his fourth kick of the game from 58 yards out to put the Browns ahead 26-24 with 10 seconds left.

Panthers K Eddy Pineiro kicked a 37-yard field goal with 1:13 left in the game to take the lead for the Panthers. The Browns trail 24-23.

Baker Mayfield connected with Robby Anderson for a 75-yard touchdown pass with 6:03 left in the game, bringing the game to single digits with the Browns leading 23-21.

Cade York drilled his third field goal, this time from 36 yards, with 6:19 left in the game, bringing the Browns up 23-14.

Baker Mayfield made his stamp against his former team in the form of his sixth career rushing touchdown with 12:58 left in the fourth quarter, narrowing the Browns lead to 20-14.

Myles Garrett started flexing his defensive muscle in the third quarter with back-to-back sacks of his former teammate Baker Mayfield. The effort killed the Panthers first drive of the second half.

At the half, the Browns lead the Panthers 17-7. Cade York’s 27 yard field goal with :21 seconds left in the half restored the Browns two-score lead.

Christian McCaffrey’s one yard touchdown run late in the second quarter got Carolina on the board for the first time and cut the score to 14-7. The play was set up by an Ian Thomas 50-yard reception two plays earlier.

Kareem Hunt’s two touchdowns gave the Browns a 14-0 lead in the second quarter. Hunt’s second of the day came on a 24 yard scamper with 4:46 to play in the half.

The Browns took a 7-0 lead with 10:49 left in the second quarter when Jacoby Brissett found Hunt in the end zone for a one-yard touchdown. It capped off a brief, three play, 42 yard drive.

The defense gave the Browns their first big play of the game a few minutes before that when Grant Delpit picked off Baker Mayfield. Three plays later Hunt scored.

The Cleveland Browns are in Carolina for a 1:00 p.m. showdown with Baker Mayfield and the Panthers.
