Cleveland Guardians trade infielder Owen Miller to Milwaukee

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - In a surprising move, the Cleveland Guardians have traded infielder Owen Miller to Milwaukee.

Miller just finished his first full season with Cleveland, hitting .243 with 6 homers.

He wasn’t close to salary arbitration, much less free agency.

The Guardians have traded Owen Miller to the Milwaukee Brewers to create space on the 40 man roster, which is now at 39. That will give them room to add Mike Zunino.
