Police: Body found in Tallmadge under ‘suspicious circumstances’

TALLMADGE, Ohio (WOIO) - Tallmadge police launched an investigation Tuesday after the discovery of a dead body.

According to police, the victim was found in the 400 block of West Avenue under “suspicious circumstances.”

The victim was later identified as Samantha Tiffner, 35, of Akron.

The Summit County Medical Examiner determined that foul play was ruled out as a cause of death.

The incident remains under investigation.
