Alyson Bruner is an Emmy award-winning reporter. She joined Cleveland 19 in November 2016 as a Reporter/Multimedia journalist.

Before arriving in Cleveland, Alyson spent two years in Kansas City working as a reporter/fill-in anchor at KSHB. While there, she was able to cover the Royals on their World Series run and even got to cover the team in New York City as they won the championship.

Prior to that, Alyson spent nearly four years as the 6 p.m., 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. anchor in Harrisonburg, Virginia. While in Harrisonburg, Alyson supported a number of charities like United Way, The Pilot Club and The Arc.

Alyson has also reported at KCRG in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She started her TV career on the east coast in Roanoke, Virginia.

During her college years at Liberty University, she reported for the local TV station on campus and interned at FOX Chicago. Alyson grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, where she first got her passion for news by being able to stay up late with her parents and watch the local news.

Alyson is thrilled to be reporting in the Midwest. In her down time she enjoys spending time with her husband, visiting family and friends, plus enjoying the outdoors.
