Baillie Burmaster joined Atlanta News First as Sports Director in July 2023.
She has had stops in phenomenal sports cities like Cleveland, Ohio, Green Bay, Wisconsin and Lubbock, Texas. Along the way, she’s covered some of the biggest names in the game from Patrick Mahomes to Aaron Rodgers to Giannis Antetokounmpo.
In addition, Baillie has been a color commentator for women’s college soccer on regional networks and a sideline reporter for United Rugby League. Baillie utilizes her sports and athletic background to develop and build relationships with coaches and athletes.
Baillie brings an athlete's perspective to the department having played soccer for Oklahoma State. While there, she won a Big 12 Championship and made it to the Elite Eight with two additional NCAA appearances. She was also an academic All-American all 4 years and voted Most Inspiring Athlete at OSU her senior year.
Outside of work, Baillie can be found traveling to new places, finding new local restaurants and enjoying sports.
