CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Sandy Klimkowski, the former go-to-gal in Auditor Frank Russo's office has resigned from her position.

Klimkowski announced her resignation Thursday evening.

Klimkowski has not been charged with anything at this time, but was on paid leave of absence.

Klimkowski was a Russo confidant and had intimate details on Russo's operation. A federal information hints that she took bribes and now could be cooperating with the investigation.
