Jail Time For Clevelanders Convicted Of Stealing ATM, Leading Police On High Speed Chase

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Two Cleveland men sent to the slammer Tuesday morning.
Jeremy Gum and Anthony Hupcej going to prison after they tried to rob an ATM machine by pulling it from the concrete. The geniuses then led police on a high-speed chase.
A police cruiser, attempting to stop the vehicle, lost control and crashed. They struck a police unit. Gum and Hupcej fled the vehicle. Gum struck an officer upon arrest. Hupcej was arrested a short time later. In addition, Gum faced charges of receiving stolen property and obstructing justice.
Gum was sentenced to nine-years in prison. Hupcej will spend the next four and a half years behind bars.
