Bald Bandit: Lakewood Police Searching for Suspect Who Swiped Hundreds from Gas Station

LAKEWOOD, OH (WOIO) - Lakewood police searching for a man who swiped hundreds of dollars from a Sunoco Gas Station.

It happened on March 28th at the Sunoco on Hilliard Boulevard at 3:45PM.

Police tell 19 Action News the suspected - a white, bald man in his mid-30s to early 40s - walked into the station and peppered the clerk with several questions and requests.

While the clerk was distracted, the suspect grabbed an envelope of money - which contained $850.00 - and fled the gas station.

The suspect then got into his newer black Dodge two-door - possibly an Avenger - with a sun roof and sped away.
