CLEVELAND (WOIO) - Two high-profile Democrats are battling to become Ohio's next US Senator. Tuesday Jennifer Brunner and Lee Fisher went head to head at the City Club right here in Cleveland.

In just a few weeks voters will have to decide who may go to Washington.

The face to face meeting did have one touchy moment when Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner called Lt. Governor Lee Fisher out for getting too familiar. Brunner did a reverse Palin on Fisher.

"So Jennifer will you?"  That's what Lt. Fisher asked.

Secretary of State Brunner took offense that Lt. Governor Lee Fisher called her by her first name.

"First of all,  I have not once referred to you as Lee. It would be wonderful if you referred to me by my title which is Secretary of State Brunner," said Brunner.

Fact check: A clip was found on Youtube with the Secretary of State calling Fisher by his first name.

Fisher is leading in fundraising. Brunner and he are vying for every vote to become the next US Senator from Ohio.
