CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A Cleveland man received the shock of his life Tuesday.

He showed up to court for a traffic ticket but homicide detectives hauled him off to jail on suspicion of murder.

The suspect, who's name has not been released, is from Cleveland's east side and police believe he may be connected to a killing that happened sometime after he got the speeding ticket.

Cleveland police are remaining tight-lipped about which homicide they're investigating.

As far as the traffic ticket, he did get a new court for that.
