Local Loser: Unruly 32-Year-Old Cuffed, Stuffed After Scuffle with Akron Cops

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - A 32-year-old Warren man slapped with a slew of charges after a scuffle with cops in Akron.

It happened when Steven N. Walker refused to pull over for a traffic stop. He fled instead, and even rammed into a police cruiser on two occasions.

Walker eventually ended up crashing into a utility pole at Englewood and Seibering Streets. He refused to get out of the vehicle and fought with officers.

When he was pulled out of the vehicle, he was found to be in possession of an open container of Heineken beer and a baggy of marijuana.

Walker was charged with Felonious Assault on a Police Officer, Fail to comply with Signal of a Police Officer, Receiving Stolen Property, Resisting Arrest, Open Container in a Motor Vehicle and Drug Abuse Marijuana.
