UPDATE: CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - New details on the search for a missing Cleveland girl.

The 12-year-old was located at 3AM Wednesday morning in the Garden Valley Apartments located at E. 79th and Kinsman.

19 Action News has learned police arrested a seasonal Parks and Recreation city worker - Michael Hudson - and charged him with rape.

Cleveland Police learned of the child's missing status on May 5th, when her mother notified police that she was under home detention and left home without permission. There was increased concern for her safety because she takes medication for bi-polar disorder and depression.

Her mother Tonae Bolton says she'll is relieved her daughter is finally back home. "Everything was a mystery, so I'm just glad she's home safe."

During the investigation, with the assistance of the FBI Violent Incident Crime Task Force, Cleveland Police obtained information that led them to Hudson. He has allegedly been in a relationship and harboring the girl since she left home on May 5th.

Hudson is currently being held in the City of Cleveland Division of Corrections Central Prison Unit.

The child was taken to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, where she was examined and released late Wednesday morning.
