Jet skiers rescued on the Vermilion River

VERMILION, OH (WOIO) - Boat Patrol Officers help nine people after their jet skis capsize in the Vermilion River on Memorial Day.

Police tell 19 Action News nine people on four wave runners ran into trouble when two wave runners flipped making a turn and a third began sinking.

Out of the nine people, two rode the working jet ski back to shore, two swam to shore and the remaining four were put on the Vermilion Harbor Patrol Boat.

Nobody injured, and everybody was wearing life-jackets.
