Chris Van Vliet and 19 Action News caught up with Betty White and her costars Jane Leeves, Wendy Malick and Valerie Bertinelli on the red carpet at the Rock Hall. The "Hot in Cleveland" stars were in town to celebrate the second season of their hit comedy series on TV Land.
Betty White informed us that she is ecstatic to finally be in Cleveland after one and a half seasons of filming in Los Angeles, pretending to be in Cleveland. She had a lovely day at the famous Cleveland Zoo where she got to hold a baby koala bear.
Leeves, Malick and Bertinelli were equally excited to be in the city that they portray daily from a studio in L.A. Bertinelli told us that she even has family here in Cleveland and is quite the Browns fan. The Browns aren't the only Cleveland sports team that the ladies showed some love, they ended the red carpet interview by saying, "Go Indians!"
Malick attributes the show's success to the fact that, "it is a celebration of women of all ages," she added "oh and we're funny too!" The women were very complimentary of the Cleveland natives that they have come across so far, saying that they are nice, real people.
