Mother of toddler who fell from second story window pleads not guilty, ordered to stay away from child

A Cleveland mother whose two-year-old child fell from a second story window went before a judge Tuesday morning.

Latrice Foster pleaded not guilty to two counts of endangering children.

On July 7th, Foster left her two children, ages two and three, home alone. The two-year-old boy fell out of a second-story window that did not have the child safety latches engaged. The child was unconscious after the fall, but only sustained facial bruises. The child was hospitalized for two days.

After a search of the residence, the little girl's bed was found to have a hole in it with bugs crawling out.

Foster is not allowed to have contact with her son, whom is currently in the custody of Children and Family Services.

Her bond was continued at $3K.
