A Wooster couple nailed for a rash of burglaries in three counties.
21-year-old Reuben Troyer and 21-year-old Natasha Urconis were arrested for burglary Sunday morning at the conclusion of a joint investigation involving both the Holmes and Wayne County Sheriff's office.
The two were arrested after Holmes County Deputies followed them from a Holmes county address to one on Senff Road, near Mt. Eaton.
Upon arrival at that address, Urconis went to the door of the home and knocked. After receiving no response at the door, the couple left in their vehicle only to return a short time later.
Upon the arrival of deputies, Troyer was found in the process of entering the home while Urconis was waiting outside holding her 18-month-old child.
Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Wayne County Jail.
Upon being interviewed, Troyer admitted to being responsible for at total of seven burglaries in Wayne County, seven more in Holmes County and four in Knox County.
The method of operation involved targeting the homes of Amish residents on Sunday mornings.
