A male is in custody after a large fight broke out between approximately 100 people at a skating rink attached to the Zelma Watson George Recreation Center located at 3455 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. Saturday.
There was a concert scheduled at the skating facility, but the fight broke out before it started, and shots were fired according to Cleveland Police police.
Officers arrived on scene and saw a car fleeing the area. According to the police report, 25-year-old Taurean Swift of Cleveland, fled on foot after the car stopped. After he was in custody, officers located the gun in the backyard of a house on Mount Auburn.
The concert was canceled, it is unknown who was scheduled to perform.
