Big blast of colder air will settle in this afternoon with temperatures dropping into the low 50s by 6pm. Expect showers to arrive from west to east. The heaviest rain will be overnight into Saturday morning. Most of the rain will be east of Cleveland on Sunday with showers remaining in Ashtabula county. As Sandy starts to move inland from the Atlantic and tracks west, the moisture from what's left of Sandy combined with the colder arctic air could have some snow mixing with rain next week. But the biggest threat from Sandy for northeast Ohio will most likely be the wind.
The jury resumed deliberating Friday morning in the Craigslist murder trial. Closing arguments were heard Thursday. Teen suspect Brogan Rafferty faces multiple charges, including four counts of murder. Rafferty and 52-year-old Richard Beasley are accused of luring men to a remote farm in Noble County through a Craigslist ad that promised work. Three men were killed, a fourth man was shot, but survived. Rafferty took the stand in his own defense earlier this week. Rafferty claims when Beasley asked him to go with him to Noble County, he suspected nothing, that it was truly to hire a man for a farm job.
