CVS armed robbery suspect in custody

Cleveland police arrest one man they say robbed a CVS Pharmacy at gunpoint. Jamal Turtage is currently in police custody awaiting charges. Turtage was arrested Wednesday evening.

The aggravated robbery happened at the CVS Pharmacy at 3171 West Boulevard on November 23 around 10:20 a.m.

Police say Turtage and Perry Johnson entered the store. One of the men brandished a revolver and pointed it at two employees behind the counter. The male demanded that the employees open the safe and then proceeded to take the cash inside. The males also robbed the pharmacy of narcotics.

Johnson remains on the loose. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crimestoppers at 216-252-7463 (216-25-CRIME).

Customers tell 19 Action News, "It doesn't make us feel safe and comfortable in our own town."  Another said, "They need to be caught, taken care of."
