PARMA, OH (WOIO) - 58th Hungarian Scout Festival is being held on Sunday, September 1, at the German Central Park located at 7863 York Road in Parma.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Ohio's largest Hungarian festival will offer live Hungarian music, freshly made ethnic foods and folk dancers.
There will be arts and crafts, and games and activities for visitors of all ages.
Local food lovers can indulge in Hungarian delicacies such as stuffed cabbage, fresh sausages, grilled pork steak, goulash, chicken paprikas with dumplings and "lángos" (elephant ears).
The Café Budapest features scrumptious tortes, strudels, pastries, fresh baked breads and espresso coffee.
Activities such as soccer, free animal programs, kids' games, a rock climbing wall, a book fair, and folk art presentations will be among the many things that festival-goers will partake in.
The festival is sponsored by the American Hungarian Friends of Scouting, proceeds will benefit and support the activities of the nearly 300 Hungarian scouts in the Cleveland area.
