24-year-old man in critical condition after Medina County accident

BRUNSWICK HILLS, OH (WOIO) - A 24-year-old Strongsville man is in critical condition after being involved in a traffic accident early Friday morning.

It happened around 8:22 a.m. on Marks Road just north of Winter Brook Drive in Brunswick Hills.

Ohio State Highway Patrol Troopers say Gregory Musichuk was driving a 1987 Ford Mustang northbound on Marks Road.

Musichuk lost control of his vehicle and entered the southbound lanes of Marks Road and was struck in the right front by Gary Tharp, 55, of Valley City Ohio, driving a 2005 Ford F150 Pick-up Truck.

Musichuk was ejected from his vehicle. He sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southwest General Hospital by ambulance then Life Flighted to Cleveland Metro Hospital where he is listed in critical Condition.

Tharp was taken to South West General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol is not a factor.

This crash remains under investigation.
