Iowa City, Iowa (WOIO) - The Ohio State Buckeyes are making their move, pulling off a second straight upset of a Top 20 opponent, as they stunned the 17th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes on Tuesday night, 76-69 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
The back-to-back wins are keeping OSU's NCAA Tournament hopes alive, following a rough stretch in which they lost five out of six, and their national ranking in the process. A month ago, the Buckeyes were ranked third in the country.
Aaron Craft was the spark, throwing down a team-high 17 for Ohio State, along with six assists and six steals. LaQuinton Ross, Amir Williams, Lenzelle Smith Jr. and Shannon Scott also scored in double figures.
OSU (18-5) will host Purdue on Saturday.
