A man wounded in an officer-involved shooting Monday night remains hospitalized.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was shot several times after he fired at officers while running from them.
It happened just before midnight on West 25th Street between Marvin and Meyer.
Police were already in the area investigating two shootings that happened earlier that evening, when they spotted a man who had a warrant out for his arrest.
The man ran from police, and during the chase, officers say he pulled a gun on them.
The 25-year-old suspect was arrested and taken down the block to MetroHealth Medical Center. He's listed in serious condition. Cops recovered his loaded gun as well.
A second person with a gun, 29, was taken into custody without incident. He's locked up in jail.
The two officers involved will be placed on three days administrative leave.
The investigation continues.
