Cleveland Homicide Detectives are investigating the death of 34-year-old Sachin Rana. He was shot to death at 5611 Woodland on Sunday, October 5.
According to investigators, police and EMS responded around midnight to the Hometown Grocery Store for a shooting.
Officers arrived and found Rana, a store employee, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The Parma Heights man was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he later died.
Police say the suspect walked into the store and began talking to Rana before he pulled out a handgun and started shooting.
The suspect then ran out the store and got into a small burgundy or maroon colored vehicle that was parked out front.
It was last seen heading west on Woodland and then north on E. 55.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiners Office will determine an official cause of death.
